Marketing & Technical Sales
We’ve built a deeply personalized platform team service. Now we’re looking for a marketing and
technical sales partner to help us grow. We’re a small, earnest group with a sense of humor.
We’re dedicated to learning and improving, and we want someone who can help tell the Nyamaropa story
across Africa and beyond.
You’ll collaborate with customers, marketing, and operations teams to deliver and improve
Nyamaropa’s platform partnerships.
Required Skills
- Ability to work remotely. Nyamaropa is a 100% remote company (and always has been)
- Demonstrated B2B technical sales competency
- Demonstrated B2B marketing competency
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to collaborate with Operations and Admin Teams to provide high quality service
- Ability to conduct relevant and impactful market research
- Ability to effectively manage technical projects with multiple people involved
- Ability to manage client relationships from initial contact through completion of onboarding
- Demonstrated competency in ROI analysis, to inform marketing planning
- Demonstrated understanding of the platform engineering industry and where Nyamaropa sits on the spectrum
Responsibilities
Apply for Marketing & Technical Sales
- Identify potential clients, develop and maintain relationships
- Collaborate with Nyamaropa Platform Teams to develop service proposals
- Negotiate, prepare, and finalize contract terms with clients
- Collaborate with Nyamaropa Platform Teams through completion of customer onboarding to ensure customer experience continuity
- Gather useful information from customers to improve service and implement via collaboration with Nyamaropa Platform Team
- Gather useful competitor data to increase competitive advantage
- Collaborate with other team members to inform marketing planning
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
Cloud Engineer
Our Cloud Engineers are the muscle of Nyamaropa. You’ll work directly with a
consistent set of Nyamaropa partners over Slack and Zoom, learning their platforms
and business context. You’ll build and manage infrastructure, contribute to internal
automation, monitor systems, and collaborate with the broader platform team.
Requirements
Apply for Cloud Engineer
- Desire/ability to successfully work in a fully remote position
- Desire/ability to successfully work in a small company environment
- 5+ years Linux Administration experience
- 3+ years experience working with customers in a hosting environment
- 3+ years experience using cloud technology (GCP, AWS, Azure), GCP preferred
- Strong understanding of operating systems, databases, networking, and security
- Container experience is a plus
- Kubernetes experience is a plus
- Desire to grow professionally and personally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Eligible to work in your country of residence
